    I am incredibly proud to announce that my first big written work is now available for pre-order. I've been working with Emerson Tung for over 3 years on breathing life into this setting, trying to do justice to his incredible mechanical artwork. I think we succeeded.

    Amazing. More than year of posting dieselpunk mecha, but somehow its the railway guns that make people go "that doesn't make sense" en masse. Mind you, I've been writing excuses for why these things are as they are for nearly five years now. I relish the opportunity to share.

    The Liberterran coastal wall is the largest structure in the world. Depending on how one quantifies things it is also the largest weapons system ever produced. Without the wall, the Kyzerian “Operation Oberherr” naval invasion of WC047 would most certainly have succeeded.

    How is avatar not dark enough? Genocide, murderous revenge, plethora of war crimes, deep psychological trauma breaking down peoples psyche. The only thing that doesn't fit "dark and gritty" is that our main cast keeps an optimism and looks for another way. That is a good thing?

    When shaped charge technology was developed later in the Neverwar it was soon countered with specialized defenses. Offset armor plates were common on Kyzerian Tankheads, but they also developed a wiremesh cape that could be draped over tankheads.

    Right, this! Iirc there was also an episode with a family that had their entire home stuffed with miniature Santa's. It was their thing and brought them joy so they stayed.
