00:00 - The college football coaching cycle sucks. You now have Brian Kelly going to LSU before their season is over and with an outside chance of sneaking in the CFP. This triggers the Luke Fickell rumors and concerns across Cincinnati. It’s a vicious cycle that needs to be fixed.
- If you don’t believe @fccincinnati are the best team in MLS today, you haven’t really been paying attention. 8 points clear atop the league with wins against #2 NSH, #3 PHI & #4 SEA. This team sold a $10mm striker, is perfect at home & has all the character in the world. 💪🏼
- Fun #MLSSeasonPass note from my chat w/Obinna Nwobodo today: Obi said because of the #AppleTV broadcast his family was easily able to watch the game in Nigeria and saw his 1st MLS goal live. That’s pretty cool. Said he celebrated by calling them to talk about it. #AllForCincy
00:00- Folks, that’s an all time night at TQL Stadium. All. Timer. I’m exhausted. Luca’s strike is the greatest goal scored in that building and probably the best in club history. Lucho’s effort to win it defines MVP. Great teams find a way to win on nights they aren’t perfect.
- Difficult to explain the @fccincinnati movement without experiencing it first hand. Can’t wait to witness the Inaugural @MLS Home Match with 32,250 of my dearest friends. Today will be another magical day for this spectacular club & city. #FCCincy
- My dad & I started going to @Browns games 35 years ago. He’s had season tickets since 1999. We’ve watched a lot of heart wrenching games together. Wish we would have been together on the Lakefront today. Alas, our Cleveland Browns are playoff bound. True tears of pure joy.
- Consider this: Seattle arrived in Cincy leading MLS with 17 shots on target in 2 games. Tonight they had ONE. They had six goals in two games. Tonight? NONE. That’s one hell of a team performance by @fccincinnati tonight and as gritty of a win as they come. LFG!! #AllForCincy
