    David Beckham joined the queue to see the Queen's coffin at 0145 am Friday morning. If he looks like a man who has been up all night - he has. Full credit to this man who could have played the VIP card. He is a credit to our nation, and his Queen.

    The late Queen was the absolute opposite of the modern celebrity. She never whined. She never felt the need to share her truth. She never needed an Oprah Winfrey grovelling at her feet. She demonstrated the power of never complaining, never explaining never ever whining.

    The crowds that queue for hours to see their Queen’s coffin could not be more more racially diverse. The faces of our country They come from every race, every faith and none. Our people. Her people. When they tell you this country is a racist hellhole - please don’t believe them.
