    The XRP Ledger account reserve was just lowered to 10 XRP and the owner reserve to 2 XRP. Our XRP Ledger UNL validator (Gimli) has been voting for lower reserve requirements since 2021-05-28. Decentralized decision making at its finest! 📢

    📢 After several weeks of Fee voting, the XRP Ledger has finally lowered the Account Base reserve to 10 XRP, and Owner reserve to 2 XRP: xrpscan.com/validators

    Our validator runs on a bare-metal server featuring a 3.4 GHz hexa-core CPU, 64 GB DDR4 RAM, hardware RNG, mirrored NVMe SSDs, redundant PSUs and 1 Gbit/s network link. Pionen data center is owned and run by Bahnhof, Sweden's oldest independent ISP. (2/4)

    Pionen offers strong physical security and excellent connectivity, it facilitates one of Sweden's Internet exchange points. Pionen is powered by renewable energy only and heat from the servers is used for heating of nearby households. (3/4)

    Some signal providers will enable delegating to them from their websites (connect MetaMask, Ledger device etc), some wallets will include support for delegation from inside their app etc. We're making sure both options are available for mainnet release.
