    As self employed individuals, traders really need to have a backup/retirement plan. I have invested in farmland for years and continue to buy more income producing land. If my trading accounts blew up tomorrow, I would never have to work again, only because of my backup plan.

    2 things I did to take my trading to the next level. 1st is learn to recognize A+ setups and dont be afraid to size into them. 2nd is cut losses fast and NEVER trade without a stop

    Since my interview last week I have been asked why I no longer short but look for long opportunities. Here is a good reason, or 1M good reasons. Was lucky enough to be at my computer for the SMCI news headline Friday after hours and I loaded up. Dumped most at the open but

    Cutting losses is the single most important factor to a long career in the markets. I have losses, lots of losses, but I cut them fast and move on.

    Spent the week in Colorado. Traded the first 90 mins of the day then hit the mountains the rest of the day. Can’t beat it!

    After 15 years full time I started to take off summers now I only work 2-3 hours a day and still make more than I did a few years ago.  Remember after a certain amount of money there is nothing that can replace lost time.  Enjoy you life as it goes too fast

    The market will suck you in, give you easy money, make it seem like the windfall will never end, then spit you out and leave you broke. The next day, the market reopens like nothing ever happened and it could care less about you. Sad to read about traders taking their lives over

    $MSTR closing up shop today 1M+ in gains....In hindsight could have done so much better buying puts but again this is a learning experience for the next one. Im grateful the setup worked out with a fat gap up. FWIW the gains in the bottom 2 accounts are primarily long the 450

    Right or wrong when I turn on the screens every morning my main focus is preserving capital. I do not focus on making as much money as I can. The winning trades will ALWAYS happen and they will always cross your screen. Preserving capital and minimizing losses should be every
