EXPLORER, the world’s first total-body PET scanner, is up and running. @TotalBodyPET creates 3D renderings of the entire human body in as little as 20 seconds. It’s faster and requires less radiation than a conventional PET. @SimonRCherry @rdbadawi ow.ly/FBVc50uGBQU

We are so proud to have health care workers like James who are making history at UC Davis Health.
Here’s my baby brother, James, getting the Pfizer vaccine today. He’s a doctor in the Covid ICU at ⁦@UCDavisHealth⁩. I asked him if he was nervous and he laughed at me. “No. Not at all. I trust science.” We’re so so so proud of you, bro! 👏🏻 👏🏻

"Given the overwhelming number of people coming to the Emergency Dept., we're encouraging people not to come to the Emergency Dept. if they have mild symptoms & just want to get a COVID test because we're trying to take care of those who are most sick.” -@NickSawyerMD, @UCDavisEM
