Sad to say my first message is about an awful night of Russian missiles and drones in Kyiv and across Ukraine. Civilians have been injured and killed - including children. The UK continues to support, both on air defence and with £13m this week for energy repairs.

Honoured to meet with Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk. I expressed solidarity with Ukraine following Russia’s reckless strikes overnight. We discussed his recent trip to the UK, our bilateral cooperation, and working together to develop the UK-Ukraine 100 Year Partnership.

Productive first meeting with Defence Minister @Denys_Shmyhal. We discussed the UK's military support to Ukraine, as well as our historic agreement to collaborate on battlefield technology. Ukraine's security is the UK's security.
