- Sadly, I've been told that UND All-American OL Greg Lotysz has passed away. Greg was a mountain of a man, in size and personality. Great family man that raised three beautiful kids with his wife, Heather. I was lucky enough to play alongside Greg for three seasons at UND and
- 🚨 Breaking: I have confirmed that Eric Schmidt will be the next head coach at North Dakota. The former UND All-American linebacker and defensive coordinator is currently the DC at San Diego State. Spent time at Washington and Fresno State prior. Hails from Mandan, ND.

- Let's give credit where it's due: Special Teams coach Shawn Kostich has done a superb job the last couple seasons. Multiple blocked kicks to essentially win games.
- Tommy Schuster played the best game of his career and it's not even debatable. He was a man out there running the offense. Fearless running it also, diving forward for 1st downs, scrambling and finding the open receiver.
