#WorldRefugeeDay By 30 June 2025, 🇨🇲 hosted 2.1M displaced people: • 969K IDPs • 699.5K IDP returnees • 431K refugees & asylum-seekers Despite ongoing challenges, UNHCR 🇨🇲 has supported the voluntary return of 18,600+ CAR refugees since 2019, including 3,500 in early 2025

UN PDA, @steantshiband, today presented the SG’s message on the international day for countering hate speech. The event by @civic_watch and the #Friedrich_Ebert_FoundationCMR brought together MPs, SCOs, traditional leaders and the media to seek ways to counter hate speech in CMR.
