    We've got something pretty crazy to share. We have found evidence that the Lee Co. Flea Market billboard along US Hwy. 280 traveled 20 miles(!) in today's Lee County, GA Tornado. It was torn off N of Smith Station, AL and landed 20 miles to the NE in Hamilton,GA. #alwx #gawx

    Confirmed this tornado warning is for radar detecting a possible fire tornado in the wildfire. This is the first Fire Tornado Warning we are aware of in history. #cawx

    Just to make the point of how, frankly, obscene this tornado is. All of the area outlined in white, a good portion of west central Kentucky is debris fallout from the tornado. Light and voluminous things like leaves and papers are the most likely. A tragic night for many.

    This is actually quite interesting. This tornado warning is for a wildfire that is exhibiting "extreme fire behavior"... I assume this also means fire whirls / tornadoes(?).

    235+ tornadoes confirmed so far since May 17. Comparing to only the back half of May across the modern record, the 140+ EF1 or greater twisters in this stretch ranks only behind 2004 (155) and 2011 (147). ustornadoes.com/2019/05/30/the…

    A view at Energy power outages show the track of the East New Orleans tornado. Some sporadic damage on the south shore of the River, and then larger outages in Arabi, then across the intracoastal into the Michoud area.
