James Larkin - born 21 January 1876 - Trade Unionist who fought poverty and injustice and who coined the phrase "a fair day's pay for a fair day' work". Who called for workers to stand up for themselves. Values which are as important today as they were a hundred years ago.

No teacher wants to be standing on a picket line, but here we are, enough is enough. Our schools and support services demand significant investment and pay parity. Audrey Dempsey Vice Principal and SENCO Ulster Teachers' Union CEC and South West Branch Chair. #strikeaction
