I am traumatized by this mocking of the poor by our Senate. In a decent society we should have had resignations by now. To mock the poor is to mock God. I know where Godswill Akpabio was before Obong Victor Attah gave a hand. Better an honest poor than a rich thief politician

I am hitting the campaign trail hoping to traverse several states in the next week buoyed by the same ideals of taking Nigeria back that propelled me to traveling with PO to Biu in Borno, Gombe, Yenegoa, Sokoto etc. PO will also be on the road. Time to sweep out rot

Does lightening strike twice. I am overcome by a sense of deja vu. The feeling that I have here before. And my phone rings. It is one of the Abiola sons. And he asks. Does this not feel like June 12 all over. I pray God it does not turn out same way

Just a simple philosophical question. If the powerful do not like how the people want to vote should it not be easier to impose a dictatorship. The make belief about democracy is troubling and costly. It’s either we desire democracy or we work on something else

Nothing beats being principles centered. People so afraid, judges and politicians escaping from Nigeria to avoid being around on Judgement day. If we only followed honest principles nothing would be disputed and this crisis of legitimacy would not cast this pall on the future

Let it be clear that I have nothing against protests. It is a legitimate instrument of democracy for raising the voice of citizens. I have participated in many in my time. From my undergraduate days at UNN to marching with concerned professionals following the June 12 elections

Red alert. In many polling stations in Lagos INEC officials are claiming they do not have Result sheets and so cannot upload already collated results. Labour and progressive parties agents must not leave the locations neither should the officials until this is resolved
