While the meritocracy may determine the size of each individual’s boat in a form of success, it also drives progress, the tide that lifts all boats.

Nothing like becoming one with nature by expending a full massive roll of plastic shrink wrap on a pretend shelter. This must be an equivalent to 1,000 plastic bags.

Imagine that. Someone actually cares about other people’s time and well being.

What stopped you over the past 3+ years? How are you planning to turn these otherwise empty promises into actual solutions? Will the other half of the country and their representatives support you?

A few years ago, Tesla faced a similar problem. Just as it’s difficult to muster the motivation for an intense workout after a heavy meal, it’s nearly impossible to keep working with the same intensity when you have $10-$20 mil in the bank.

This is a real-world example showing why we should not try to play God with nature’s systems, without full understanding of how they work. The 2nd and 3rd order effects of our actions should not be overlooked.

He knows how various tech can be weaponized. Hell, he built some of it.

This is exactly why we need to learn and know history. This photograph is a great reference point of how much life has improved in the western society.

These “fun” videos give me chills. Upgrade this thing with a better power source, plus an advanced AI, and you’ll have an excellent weapon system. What are the odds that this sort of tech will not be used in warfare against humans within a few decades? We need to be very careful.

The main reason these cars even exist, is because of the tech developed in the US. Perhaps they are so affordable because these companies didn’t have to spend untold years and billions on the R&D, as they simply copied everything they could.

After seeing Apple’s product release, does anyone else feel like the innovation is dying at Apple?
