DWD is honored to take part in the first-ever GEF 1 joint Pride flag raising ceremony. 🏳️‍🌈 Thanks to @GovEvers’ leadership, #Wisconsin has raised the Pride Month flag for eight consecutive years—upholding our state’s legacy as a trailblazer in advancing LGBTQ+ rights.

Proud to raise the Progress Pride Flag in front of the building we share with our @WIWorkforce partners. The flag is being flown at all state agencies this June, recognizing the importance of ensuring everyone feels welcomed, safe, included. Happy #Pride🌈Month, Wisconsin!

Over 99% of Wisconsin’s public school districts have offered Youth Apprenticeship to for the 2025-26 school year. Youth Apprenticeship programs are quite literally “building” Wisconsin’s future workforce—that’s what happens when you link real-world experience with education.

The innovative “earn-while-you-learn" model allows apprentices to earn money while they learn in the classroom and on the job. Earning a wage while pursuing a career path means more people can participate, and employers across industries are rewarded with a skilled workforce.
