- My tech who contracted Covid passed away unexpectedly. He was not vaccinated. We are shocked, saddened and numb. This was way before his time. This is a wake up call for all of us, both personally and professionally. Vaccinations are important..What we are doing is so important.
- Honest answers only.... who knew generic Macrobid had a tablet in the capsule? Pt: I can't swallow these capsules? Me: it's not the best case but open the cap and sprinkle on soft food Pt: I can't swallow the tablet either Me: (good grief lady) what tablet? #rxtruestory
- Manufacturer backorder means we are unable to get the drug from the manufacturer. It DOES NOT mean: - we are trying to kill you - we don't know how to order - we are incompetent - we don't care about pts - calling corporate will change anything #TwitteRx
- Consider this scenario: You go to a MD office and there's only the MD working. Answering phones, making appts, checking in pts, taking vitals, charting, drawing labs and she's expected to see a patient every 15 minutes. It's crazy and ludicrous... THAT'S RETAIL RX RIGHT NOW!
- I just spent 20 minutes arguing with a patient that ½ and 0.5 are the same (syringes) culminating in him telling me, "I don't know where you went to school but you're a fuxxing idiot" ... That my friends is the current state of affairs #twitterx #pintobeans
- Lady said I owe her cost of her Hawaii trip since PCR test hasn't come back yet.Another person told me his lawyer was going to take all my $.Lastly a nice gentleman said,"I'm gonna blow up yo ass if my hydrocodone ain't ready at midnight." So I got all this going for me #winning
- And the award for the worst prescription ever written (non- legible) category goes to: Who can guess what it is?
- I just had a patient ask me how they can report me to the board of pharmacy (wouldn't fill their zolpidem 10 days early for a 4 day trip)? I guess somebody doesn't have the Christmas spirit...🎄 #twitterx
- Pt: app showed rx was $94 but now it's $30 Me: you had a discount card on file and tech applied it P: (tirade) why would you do that without my permission M: to save you $64 P: you need my permission! M: ok, can I apply your discount card to save you $64 P: yes M:ok (good grief)
- Unpopular opinion: Retail pharmacies are NOT the place to take your child for a vaccination! If you do come in don't expect a pediatrician office or staff who are explicitly trained in working with children... we will try but not all of us are kid ppl
- I'm a little bitter because pharmacists are not included in most companies healthcare provider discounts. It's doctors/nurses/first responders generally. I find it sort of ironic doctors are on top of every list... they're the highest paid of the staff. Why are they giving them
