Pier 58 is beginning to come to life with the installation of the jellyfish-inspired climbing tower. This is the largest element of the sea life themed play structure and is a one-of-a-kind creation for Waterfront Park.

Eight new cherry trees were planted on Pike St, between 1st and 2nd avenues 🌸 We will also be installing a plaque highlighting the historic meaning of these cherry trees in remembrance of the Japanese and Japanese American farmers who sold their produce at Pike Place Market.

Have you spotted these new additions at intersections along Pike & Pine streets?🔍👀 Bike leaning rails have been installed on Pike St near 4th & 7th avenues & on Pine St between 2nd & 6th avenues. These rails help cyclists keep their balance while waiting at traffic lights.🚦🚴

Did you know that we’re building an all-gender public restroom on the waterfront? The foundation has been constructed, & we'll be building it up in the new year! Located across from Pier 58, the restroom will include all-gender stalls with privacy, safety & cleanliness in mind.
