    Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Facilities can be rebuilt but we have people in our community who have lost everything. Our priority right now is trying to reach our players to offer resources and support. To all of our guys, if you have a need please let us know!

    We couldn't be more proud of the young men on our team. #WeAreNewnan and WE WILL overcome. If you know individuals that could use some help send us a message. We are limited in what we can do in the interest of the safety of our young men but we are here and we want to help.

    We are excited to honor the rich tradition of the Newnan Football Program by bringing back the Newnan Shield, worn by generations of Cougars, including the 1981 North Georgia Championship team. Tonight, and every night, we play for you and the entire Communuty. #WeAreNewnan

    Newnan defeated the #8 ranked Wheeler Wildcats last night 38-36. This was the program's first win against a ranked opponent since 2011. The Cougars are now 1-0 in Region 2-7A. HOMECOMING next Friday vs Campbell. Please make plans to come support these young men!

    The Cougar Nation is saddened to hear about the passing of legendary coach Robert Herring. We would like to extend our deepest condolences and prayers to Coach Herring's family. We are forever grateful for Coach Herring's dedication to generations of Newnan students.

    Three of our players and a parent were in a car accident earlier today. I won't share details without permission but we have been able to see the guys and families and everyone is in stable condition. Please continue to pray for these young men and their families!

    Alec Ogletree and his family let our football players help them hand out 1,000 turkeys tonight to members of the Newnan community!! Extremely thankful for Alec, his dedication to this community, and the example he is setting for future Cougars to come!!! #OneNewnan

    These kids never cease to amaze us. As a coaching staff we are extremely proud of these young men, their big hearts, and their dedication to helping in their community. They've showed up all week and worked their butts off. We love you guys and we're proud of you!! #NewnanStrong
