    UPDATE: Fire is out, investigator is on scene. The fire destroyed an RV, burned part of a fence, damaged two sheds in the yard, the wood deck, and melted the vinyl siding on the house. A @jeffcosheriffco deputy was treated and released for minor injuries on scene. The cause of

    WMFR on scene of an RV fire, possibly involving a shed on W. Elmhurst Place near Hoyt Court in Jefferson County. Several neighbors saw smoke and flames and called 911. Fire is under control.

    WMFR on scene of a hazmat incident at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) off Denver West Parkway. A call to 911 reported a strong chemical odor in one laboratory. Four to five people were exposed to the chemical, but did not need medical treatment. West Metro's hazmat

    WMFR on scene of a fire at a retirement home at 36th & Vance in Wheat Ridge. 911 callers reported seeing smoke and flames on a patio. Fire is out, crews are checking for possible extension to a second floor balcony, no injuries. The cause is under investigation. Thanks to

    🔥 Well… that arrow escalated quickly. Fire danger is EXTREME today. The heat has been baking the moisture out of grasses, shrubs, and other vegetation. That means fires have an easier time starting- and a harder time stopping. So before you head outside today, take a second:
