    Earlier today Frank Siller from the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation announced that the Chesna family's mortgage has been paid off. We at the Weymouth Police are forever grateful to the Stephen Siller Foundation and all the people who donated to make this possible.

    It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of K-9 Bandit this morning. Bandit was 9 ½ years old. Officer Steven Murphy made the courageous decision to allow Bandit to pass with dignity and honor. Please keep Officer Murphy and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

    Our pink patches have arrived! The Weymouth Police Association will be selling the patches to raise money for a local breast cancer charity. The patches will be $10 cash or check. They are available Monday through Friday 8AM–4PM at our records dept in the lobby of the station.

    Officer Christopher Dangelo and his new K9 partner Ghandi recently completed a 16 week Patrol K9 Academy. Day 2 on patrol Officer Dangelo and K9 Ghandi aided in locating an armed home invasion suspect. Great work!
