    I know this is a stretch..but maybe just pay taxes here..you know, for all those less PR worthy initiatives like education, health care, public transport..

    Considering the importance of Ire being represented at #COP28UAE    I have offered a pair to Min Eamon Ryan for the no confidence motion. This won't change outcome of the motion as our votes will simply cancel each other out, but will allow for continuity at climate talks

    The Taoiseach has just confirmed in the Dail to me that Ireland is currently in discussions to take 4 (yep 4!) unaccompanied minors from Lesbos. This is a wholly inadequate response to this crisis and Ireland needs to take its responsibility seriously.

    They say they care about homelessness...yet they burn down homeless hubs; They say they care about women... yet they target & harass women; They say they care about children... yet they terrorise babies and their parents. Don't fall for their lies. They only care about hate.

    Far right protesters outside our home on Sat night while we're putting our baby in bath. They have a sign about Irish homeless but I bet none have helped anyone fight their eviction. They don't care about children or homeless. They just want to spread hate and division.

    And yet, a vaccinated woman still has to miscarry on her own (in a hospital with fully vaccinated staff) due to covid risk. I just don't get it. #WheresTheCompassion #BetterMaternityCare

    I spoke in Dail today against the Govt handing over €17.6m to the greyhound industry. Unfortunately, it isn't just the Govt that wants this money wasted on greyhounds - Sinn Fein & Labour spoke in favour of it too. Me? I could think of millions of more deserving ways to spend it

    Firefighters were called at 7am to vacant buildings alight at Crooksling off the Blessington Road 7️⃣ Seven fire engines including a turntable ladder and emergency tender were sent to the scene 🛣️ Traffic restrictions on the #N81 due to hose lines 🚒 Operations are continuing
