One shift. One period. One game at a time. It's the hockey way. The way our team can honor the life of Teddy Balkind. We hold the Balkind family and St. Luke’s in our thoughts. As we remember Teddy, we'll always strive to do our best. One shift. One period. One game at a time.

- We’ve had our sticks out for Teddy — and today, we will play for Teddy, with his number 5 stickered onto the backs of our helmets. We’ll do our very best to honor his memory and make him proud.
- Hold your head high, Strauss. You made Brunswick, your country, and so many others proud. And you played phenomenally well and with such confidence and composure. You’ll always be an Olympian. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

- We thank our friend Steve Valiquette for his heartfelt words about Coach Kennedy’s daughter Katie. And we look forward to our own Hockey Fights Cancer Night this Friday at Hartong. Every thought and prayer — every dollar or ounce of support — helps in the battle. #teamkatieMSG Networks and the New York Rangers stand with John, and we are proud that he chose ‘Hockey Fights Cancer’ Night to share his story and encourage others to get tested early. #HockeyFightsCancer @NYRangers | @jaygeemsg | @VallysView
