- In tonight’s win at Norwalk, senior guard @DoctorDarling2 broke head coach Josh Henry’s school record for most points scored in a career! We have a new All-Time leading scorer! Congratulations, Easton! 🏆
- I know we will be competing on Tuesday afternoon, but this shows a lot about Coach Messerli, the Marion School District, and the Marion Community! It’s more than a game and we want to thank you guys for your kindness and help! @MarionBoysBball
- In tonight’s win, Casey Kleemeier and Easton Darling each scored 22 points, which put them both over 1,000 career points! They are only the 2nd and 3rd players to do this in Winterset Boys Basketball history!
- Congratulations to senior guard Easton Darling for breaking John Neal’s school record for most points in a single game. John scored 46 back in the 2001-02 season. Easton scored 47 tonight in a win vs Gilbert! Congratulations E! 🏀
- In tonight’s victory over Creston, Senior Casey Kleemeier moved to #2 all time for career points. He is now at 973. Junior Easton Darling jumped up to #3 all time and is at 969 career points. Both closing in on 1,000 points for their careers!

00:00 - In Friday nights game at Carlisle, junior guard Easton Darling became Winterset’s all-time leader for career 3-pointers, breaking Head Coach Josh Henry’s record of 142 made 3-pointers. Easton is currently at 147 and counting! Congratulations Easton!
- After 33 years of coaching boys basketball here in Winterset, Coach Emmert is retiring. We will miss having him around every day but he will get to spend more time with his family and he’ll be in the stands cheering us on! Thank you for all you’ve done for our program, Coach!
- Last night at Newton, Junior PG @CaseyKleemeier became Winterset’s All-Time Leader in Assists. The record was 209 set by Jordan Morris. Casey is at 211 and counting...Congratulations Casey!
