Ten risk factors are associated with 90% of strokes. To reduce the #1in4 global adult lifetime risk of #stroke we can take individual action, but population-based policies will reduce the risks for whole socieites and get us to SDG3 faster. @ncdalliance @WHO

CHANCE-2 Trial presented at #WSC2021 evaluating Clopidogrel + Aspirin versus Ticagrelor + Aspirin in acute stroke in carriers of CYP2C19 LOF allele (point of care analysis). The study showed that Ticagrelor + Aspirin was superior in reducing the risk of stroke.
