He should just blame his interpreter. I hear that works pretty well.

- 6 years ago today, Alex Rodriguez played his final game for the Yankees. He was released the following day to make room on the roster for an outfield prospect named Aaron Judge.
- Carlos Correa agreed to a combined 31 years and $865 million in contracts this offseason.
- If the Yankees pull in Rodon, Correa, and Benintendi, Hal can charge me $40 for a chicken bucket for all I care.
- So what I’m hearing is, once again, the Yankees knowingly played an injured player and let it affect his performance for an extended period? Brilliant operation they’re running in there.Anthony Volpe underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder on Tuesday, per @Joelsherman1
- The Yankees were the first team to 70 wins and the Dodgers got to 90 before the Yankees got to 80.
- I mean this with all due respect, but if the Astros and Orioles both lose today and the Yankees don’t get to the World Series, you might as well fold the franchise because it’s just never gonna happen.
- The more I think about it, the more insane it is that the Yankees brought in a guy who hadn’t pitched in a month to protect a 1 run lead in the World Series against 3 future Hall of Famers.
- You know…if Cal Raleigh gets the MVP, I’ll understand. He’s had a legendary season for a catcher. But I have to say…it certainly doesn’t feel as though he’s getting the same treatment from pitchers that Judge was getting when he was chasing 62 HR.CAL RALEIGH. NO. 59. LOOK AT WHERE THIS BASEBALL LANDS!!!
00:00 - You know, if Taillon came out and got shelled, Verlander shoved, and we lost like 5-0 like I expected, I could deal with it. But Verlander didn’t have his best stuff, Taillon did his job, and we pissed away a winnable game with bad offense and bad bullpen decisions. Frustrating.
- Gerrit Cole is staring down the barrel at Tommy John. Giancarlo Stanton’s elbows are shot. Luis Gil might be damaged goods now. Juan Soto is in Queens. Aaron Judge isn’t getting any younger. I don’t know, man. 2024 might’ve been our shot.
- Breaking news: The roof at Yankee Stadium will be OPEN for Game 3.
- Doing my best to live healthy. I’m 86 pounds down in the last two years. I readily acknowledge that I have a long way to go, but it’s a challenge that I’m up for. I’ve never felt healthier and more optimistic. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made and I’m not ashamed of how I look.
