    this thing is powered by black magic. i’ve played 100s of hours and charged it maybe 8 times. battery low warning? nbd, charge it for 20 minutes and you’re good for another 4-6 months. incredible.

    people are confused about Elden Ring’s nom for best narrative but it’s honestly long overdue. FromSoft’s stories are so rich and fascinating and non-traditional narrative delivery doesn’t mean the story is bad, just means you gotta do a little extra work for it!

    the Series X is the first Xbox i've ever owned outright, and god damn, i'm all in this gen. i feel like i'm making up for lost time playing just about everything on Xbox these days. the functionality, UI, game pass, i just really love this little guy!

    i think maybe the wildest take i've seen about last night's ep of The Last of Us is that it "disrespected" the character of Bill when it actually took a relatively one dimensional character and gave him purpose and a beautiful, fulfilled life. not enough explosions tho, i guess!
