- Replying to @Lazyybonez and @NaomiMaraaIt just means they are giving you the money bf you claim the credit on your 2020 tax return for emergency relief. It’s an “advance tax credit” Instead of filing the credit on your next years taxes to get the funds, you get it in advance and when you file next year, it zeros out.
