00:00 - I thank all members of the Lower Bench for this portrait. I reiterate my position, I will defend any judicial officer who executes their mandate in accordance with the law and the Judicial Oath. We shall resist any acts that interfere with the independence of the Judiciary.
- I was glad to preside over the opening of the induction of 17 new Judges of the High Court as they continue to deliver justice to our people.
- It was a pleasure hosting the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hon Norbert Mao, Ms. Nwanne Vwede-Obahor, United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) Resident Representative for Uganda and her deputy Ms Sheila Ngatia on Friday evening. We were joined by Mr. Alfred
- This evening I presided over the launch of the video conferencing facility at Gulu High Court. On behalf of the Judiciary and the Government of Uganda, I would like to extend a vote of thanks to the UNDP and all its supporting Partners for your support.
- When I was DCJ, I appointed him to head the case management function and oversee the functionality of the registries at the Court of Appeal. He was able to bring order and helped the Court to substantially fight case backlog.
- I will preside over the opening of the new home of Mukono High Court on Thursday.

- Earlier today, I opened a week-long Plea Bargaining Prison Camp at Gulu Main Prison. At least 500 cases will be handled during the Camp
- I am attending the 5th Standing International Forum for Commercial Courts meeting in Doha, Qatar where I presented the Ugandan experience on Alternative Dispute Resolution in resolution of disputes, and to highlight to the world, the resolutions of the Africa Chief Justices ADR
