    Let the world see the haka isn't just for rugby games, graduations, weddings and funerals. Let them get a glimpse of its original intention and if it makes anyone uncomfortable to see it outside of those other contexts then stop using it. stop telling us that when you saw it

    this is why we can't take some non-Māori takes on the haka in Parliament seriously because you look dumb saying 'if you can't verbally debate your ideas' when that haka was communicating very clearly how a lot of us feel but you don't understand it so you post nonsense like this

    The world has respected the haka for decades. The Māori Party (TPM) destroyed that respect in seconds with their selfishness. If you can’t verbally debate your ideas in Parliament you shouldn’t be in there.

    Seeing Māori at the protest says to me, their rightful distrust of the govt after decades of mistreatment was highjacked and manipulated for the cause of white supremacists aka people that don't actually care about us and it's so sad to see our people take the fall for it all

    I wish our rangatahi were afforded the same 'they were just a kid who made a silly mistake' rhetoric that sam is getting. A lot of our rangatahi do far less and receive far worse in return. we all know why
