🧵I ran a test to find out how Vercel Fluid compute behaves and here's what you must know: 1/5 When using Fluid Compute (I think enabled by default now), it seems like one could reuse a Singleton, like e.g. a db connection with postgres. This is true AND false. 👇

Let me give you one tip for your career: Learn to code from someone who has track record of experience to teach you the right things. Don't pay to "learn to code in weeks" from someone who is a Junior himself. I'm saying this cause I care about you.

Marc. This code should not be sold, YOU pose easy-to-avoid threats to customers, this is insane. Customers should be happy that ppl lk Simon make it public. Get over your pride and let someone like jonas review your code before you sell it, then there is no posts like this.

But this is the kind of support you want, not just a random generic message. Hetzner has NEVER, in 15 years EVER disappointed, technically, supportwise, whatever. No service out there, especially not Startups, have been so reliable like Hetzner, none. I would marry them

Not gonna lie: @supabase changed my coding life. The struggle w/ setting up infra was real. Sure, there were other SaaS such as Firebase etc. But: I need my tools to be trustworthy, to be community-close, to be reachable, easy-to-use. Supabase is the best balance of those.

If you are using @supabase and your querying something from the database you can use the `:` to alias the column name which can be very helpful for long column names
