This puts Everton to shame. Barnes is a Leicester boy through and through and they wished him luck. Gordon was an Everton boy through and through and they treat him like he's a judas 🤦🏼‍♂️ both clubs got decent money for both players too. But major difference in class #NUFC

Time to leave for Newcastle. 5 days in the toon. Letting my boys experience Newcastle for the first ever time and seeing old friends. Making sure they go to China Town, whitley Bay and taking the eldest to his first ever #nufc game tomorrow night under the lights at St James' 😁

Why is debt not taken into consideration with PSR or FFP? How can a club that's in £600/700m and more worth of debt be allowed to spend £300m each summer when a team with NO debt at all literally has to sell players before they can buy? FFP was made for debt yet ignores it #NUFC

The way I'm looking at it is, these new owners have offered to spend more money on players in 25 days than Mike Ashley did in 14 years. It is not their fault that other clubs want more money than their players are actually worth. I will trust the new owners plans #nufc

What happened to the "we don't demand a team that wins, we just want a team that tries"? Seems some of our fanbase have got a bit above their station with their expectations now. That was one of the things that made us great fans. Not being pricks to our own players #nufc

Not one single #nufc fan thinks this is going to happen. It is just lazy journalism because we have money. There is no way they would spend £200m on someone and then not strengthen anywhere else when they know we need about 5 or 6 new players through the door

Just under £10m to loan someone for 6 months, while paying him his £250k a week wages and without the option to buy him after it too 🤦🏼‍♂️ it's essentially £17m to play 20 games for them. That's ridiculous. And people say #NUFC are ruining the game with their money 🤦🏼‍♂️😂

🚨 Chelsea reach verbal agreement to sign Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid. Fee ~€11m (below initial #Atleti ask). Man Utd + Arsenal keen so 23yo had choice & #CFC project appealed. More reinforcements to follow this month @TheAthleticFC #MUFC #AFC theathletic.com/4072188/2023/0…

Yes, Chris Wood isn't the prolific striker we need but people are forgetting that as soon as he came in, we started winning games and only lost 4 of the 17 he played in. We won 11 of them. Also, #nufc have two wingers who don't like to cross the ball and play to his strengths

It's 17 and if you're getting 21 or any other answer, you probably didn't even go to school as you couldn't be more wrong and you'd understand pedmas/bodmas if you did go to school

The takeover of #nufc didn't change the game at all. What it did do was bring us up to a level where we can compete and that has worried the owners of the big 6 because they now know they're not guaranteed their European place any more. Clubs shouldn't have a say on takeovers

Everyone blaming PIF, Staveley, Mitchell, Ashworth and Howe for us not spending. It's simple not true. The person to blame is and always will be Mike Ashley. He let revenues get so low that any new owner was never going to be able to spend. In the first 18 months, PIF spent......

I don't get this Schak hatred. He may have supported Arsenal years ago. Doesn't mean he can't follow the club where he is from. If he carried on supporting arsenal, he'd be supporting a team winning the league so no reason to change to us if he didn't actually want to support us

I'm sorry #nufc fans but there is no way on this earth that Mike Ashley has the kind of money or contacts to be able to get the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia to play along with his game of "let's lie about a Newcastle takeover so I dont have to buy any players" the bid is real
