    I am not immune to timeline prompt posts. I started HRT when I was 20, and I was on 2mg of estrogen a day for a long time. Attached, we have, roughly: 2 years pre-HRT; 2 years post-HRT; 10 years post-HRT; 18 years post-HRT. Quite happy with the results.

    A you g trans woman, too thin, like so many of us are at that age, in a white outfit wearing a complicated beaded necklace, sitting on a couch and laughing. She has short, red hair with swooping bangs. She is laughing. Eyebrows less intense. Someone nearby is holding a beer bottle.
    Selfie. A young woman in a crisp white shirt, undone to show a bit of cleavage. Her hair is long, and almost wispy, dark brown with blunt bangs. No glasses, just blue eyes and a bold red lip.
    Selfie. Three-quarter shot so Avery could include her breasts, which seem full if a little sunburned. That necklace from the second photo is back! Her hair is still long, the bangs less blunt and the brown a lot lighter, with a bunch of greys, too. She’s wearing a cream v-neck/scoop neck button-up long sleeved tee, it’s weird but it looks good. From Abercrombie in 2019, I think.

    I know someone who, when working as a concierge at a fancy hotel, accidentally bumped into Brosnan while she was crossing the lobby in a hurry. She said, “I’m so sorry!” and he put his hand gently on her wrist and replied, “Entirely my fault.” Can you IMAGINE.

    heads up this is THE way to memorize a bunch of text perfect. the first letter of every word gives your brain enough of a hint that it can recall the full thing but not TOO much of a hint that your brain doesn’t have to TRY to recall it. You don’t have to write it like zodiac tho

    so, uh, I had this appointment today, over the phone. call lasted a minute and a half. my GP was surprised that I’d been on estrogen for 14 years. “have you had a hysterectomy?” “no, I’m a transgender woman.” “oh! oh, so you’ll need to be on HRT for life” it was fine

    every friend I’ve caught up with since coming back to Toronto has talked about rent control and auto-month-to-month being the only reason they’re still able to live here. this proposed change will functionally make homeless every long-term tenant in the city. absolute insanity
