An Afghan ally who served alongside U.S. forces was legally paroled into the U.S. and showed up for his first hearing. @DHSgov detained him anyway—using a vague “improvidently issued” excuse. He followed the rules. We have the video. This must stop. #AfghanEvac #DueProcess

Great news! Today the Biden Admin formally asked that a path for Afghan arrivals to apply for lawful permanent resident status is included in the Congressional Ukraine funding bill. This shows our allies the U.S. keeps its promises. Grateful to @WhiteHouse for its support!

How are Afghans doing? They're doing terrible because of the chaos being wrought by these executive orders and the uncertainty that persists due to ongoing lack of, or in some cases wholly inaccurate, messaging from the U.S. Government. We need to fix it now. #AfghanEvac
