We provide safe, reliable and innovative energy solutions. We tweet power outages 24/7 and customer service from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Monday to Friday.
We understand this isn’t easy. We were hit with hurricane force winds (120 km/h) that broke many poles across our service areas. We have many downed lines due to fallen tree limbs and debris. All available crews are working to restore power 1/3
We interrupt this flurry of tweets to send a special thank you to the hard-working teams in our Control Centre and in the field who are braving the elements and stormy conditions tonight. They’ll keep working until everyone has power back. #ThankYou#StaySafe
Starting today, residential and small business customers on time-of-use (TOU) pricing will pay 10.1 ¢/kWh no matter what time of day the electricity is consumed.
Our crews will keep working through the night as quickly – and safely – as possible. We won’t stop until everyone is back up, but some areas may take longer than usual. We want to thank you for your ongoing patience. and understanding. 3/3
We’d like to send a special thank you to all our first responders, line crews and control centre operators who are ensuring public safety while working throughout the night to get power back. Remember, if you see them out, please keep a safe distance.
Several outages have occurred or are occurring in our service territory as the storm continues to track across southern Ontario. ETRs will be posted and/or updated after crews have safely arrived at each site and have assessed the damage. We appreciate your continued patience.
We understand outages are not fun – we’re calling more crews to help fix the extensive damage caused by the storm. Although we’re unable to provide accurate ETAs at this time, please know all available crews are working to fix broken poles and damaged equipment. #ONstorm
A significant storm with high winds and heavy rain is making its way across south/southwestern Ontario. Several pockets of outages are occurring. Please be patient as crews are responding - and always assume a downed line is “live”, even if it’s not jumping or sparking. #besafe
