The difference is that it used to be those who wanted to be taken seriously at least tried to move past that. Why? Because someone with different beliefs than you is not per se the enemy and it is intellectually, psychologically, and spiritually immature to think so.

These two women have sacrificed so much for our country, shattered so many glass ceilings, and continue to be an inspiration to women and girls throughout our country. Thank you, @KamalaHarris and @HillaryClinton. 💙

I am stunned to discover just how many people have no clue that major White House state dinners are held in tents because there is no room in the entire White House complex to hold any event over about 300 people.

So the 100,000 Federal workers quitting tomorrow is actually 100,000 workers who took the deferred resignation program and September 30, 2025 is the separation date what with it being the end of the fiscal year. That's not a sexy headline, though, is it?

So. I finally read the NYT Trump tax story because I wanted to see what line was being reported for taxes owed and I came across this about the $750 in 2016 and 2017. Per the NYT own story, Trump actually paid to the US Treasury $1 million in 2016 and $4.2 million in 2017.

I was this child. You know what it taught me? Doing well and being good gets you punished.

That's what life *is*, though! If you're unusually smart/talented, your primary purpose in life is to help lift up others who weren't born/raised as lucky as you were. Learning that sooner rather than later is important for developing a sense of altruism and communitarianism.

Set aside the court packing stupid for a second. Let us focus on the sheer lunacy of expanding to an even number.

Kamala says we have to consider expanding the Supreme Court to 12 justices. Court packing is insanely radical and has been rejected for 100 years by both parties. Wow.

Telling a child that child has to teach others is, in fact, a punishment.

Read that closely. Trump PAID, as in transferred to the US Treasury, $1 million in 2016 and $4.2 million in 2017. Note also that most of the overpayment was rolled forward, not refunded. The $750 figure is an ADDITIONAL $750. Thus every single story saying he paid $750 is a lie.

🧵Yesterday I was in a position where I could overhear three women, all in their early to mid 20s, discussing the assassination attempt against Trump. I was trying to ignore it out of simple politeness. Then they started trying to remember which President won like all the states.

Also, I'm going to post this one more time for those in the back. Trump paid $1 million in taxes in 2016 and $4.2 million in taxes in 2017 and, per the NYT story, most of that money was rolled forward. Stop LYING. Start READING. Just. Stop. Lying.
