We've heard from many of our customers that they would like to see 23andMe help reunite family members that were tragically separated from each other. Connecting and uniting families is core to the mission of 23andMe. We would welcome any opportunity to help.

The 23andMe Special Committee released news today indicating their plan to take the company through the Chapter 11 process.   While I am disappointed that we have come to this conclusion and my bid was rejected, I am supportive of the company and I intend to be a bidder.   I have

It’s inspiring to see the massive outreach around helping these families. 23andMe has offered to donate kits and resources to do the genetic testing to help reconnect children with their parents. We are waiting to see the best way to follow up and make it happen.

Susan has been my inspiration and mentor since I was born. She is not only my sister but the most inspiring leader and mother. I can’t wait for her to have more time to resume bossing me around. 😉 Congrats on 25 magical years and can’t wait for the next chapter!
Today, after nearly 25 years at @Google, I’m stepping back to start a new chapter. I'm inspired every day by creators around the world who bring people together on @YouTube. It's been an honor to have a front row seat to this incredible community. yt.be/xuvp6

I have a friend critically ill at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center who can’t get transferred to Stanford for more advanced care without a $1M deposit. What kind of morals are reflected in our society when you know you can save someone’s life but refuse to do so bc of payment?!

My father died a couple weeks ago so Father’s Day this year takes on a new meaning. Thinking of you dad and appreciating the sunny days, ripe peaches, and kids jokes the way I know you would have. 💕 physics.stanford.edu/people/stanley…

To assist in reuniting families, we intend to offer our genetic testing services through non-profit legal aid orgs representing the families. We recognize that genetic data contains highly personal information and we want to ensure the data is only used for reuniting families.
