    Had coffee with daughter and wife of a patient who passed late 2018. This 12 year old wanted to surprise me with 3k she raised last year for #PancreaticCancer research . She told me she did this so other families don’t have to go through what they did

    funded! #persistence 8 yrs post fellowship/6 in current job. Submitted 1/3 k08 3 yrs in, 2nd 3 days post partum (now almost 2 yr old) & 3rd (and last) Oct 21 @ same time as 1st discussed/not funded R01. Now K funded! “aged” a bit but helps tons re time navigating R transition!

    For the skeptics, enrolled our daughter in moderna trial. could get placebo, gets multiple blood draws and ultimately could still need 2 more shots but when asked. “want to keep me, my family and friends safe. want to help!” Insights from a 7 yr old! @mihirsparikh @MGHMedicine

    Couldn’t figure out how to edit from screen shot protecting some info. This from a meeting. disappointed to continue to see lack of understanding re impact of Covid for women #MedTwitter #WomenInMedicine actively hindering participation of women. “Avoid having small children..”

    Slight change in #ASCO2023 Saturday night plans. two #gionc spontaneously skip out on receptions and land 👇🏽and it was just incredible (and I had already gone in Boston!) #ERAS2023 #taylorswiftchicago will be an asco for the record books!

    Thought. Submitted 1st r01 (submitting another big grant next week) while on service/have clinic, sprinkle in few talks(oh & life with 3 kids) & I’m fried. few yrs ago, I’d be 💪🏽 re productivity but realize more & more the “pride” taken for wearing ourselves out probably shameful
