- The Kate Fleming Memorial Cup was played in Timoleague this afternoon and the result was Argideen Rangers 4-15 Valley Rovers 0-19. Sincere thanks to Mick Lyons and Valley Rovers GAA Club and thanks to all involved.
- The GAA community is a poorer place this morning learning of the passing of Paudie Palmer RIP Be it his dulcet tones on the airwaves, or his engaging articles in the papers, Paudie had such knowledge and interest in gaelic games and sport in general, everybody listened (1/2)
