- Replying to @artincirclesI guess the confusion comes from the very definition they have of ethnicity, which is very attached to race. Again, makes sense bc the US is such a racialized place, people with Latin American descent are seen as NON-WHITE. But in Latin America, they're still Americans to us.

- Replying to @artincirclesBut also I have to speak up when they want to appropriate Latinidad as something defined by them. Latinidad is defined by a FAMILY of more than 30 countries that were colonized by Spain (and Portugal) for centuries.
