    Was really hoping today's launch would go smoothly. T_T But I'm happy that iOS users are enjoying it so far! Really sorry about the delay for Android users, but it's out of our hands at this point.

    Man, I can't get over the art style for Mario Wonder. They're really capturing the charm of 2D Mario art, but with 3D models. The poses play to the camera so well and the silhouettes are so readable.

    I actually love this interpretation. I think they nailed how a realistic Pikachu should look. Not like any old mouse. Certainly not like a cat, like a lot of fan-made realistic Pikachus have been. But a mix of a rabbit, mouse, prairie dog, and cat.

    "Lazy" is absolutely not a word I would use to describe it. More like "efficient." For what we're paying, it's certainly adequate. But you can't deny that these tracks don't live up to the same standard as the base game, and we're allowed to be bummed out about that.

    Hmm, on the one hand, I agree with the sentiment that strength doesn't need to be masculine, but on the other hand, I disagree with the notion that a determined look or a slightly furrowed brow are intrinsically masculine characteristics.

    Alright, Smash Ultimate modders, this is what the world needs: Faithful recreations of DK, K. Rool, and Diddy from the DKC cartoon from the 90s, complete with plasticy materials and gross facial expressions. Who has the courage???

    Now that Nintendo is embracing the "classic mario" aesthetic, more YouTubers need to become familiar with the names Yoichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. Kotabe solidified the 2D Mario look in the late 80s and early 90s, and Nakaue has been carrying that torch in newer games.

    Can we stop to appreciate just how faithful this Green Hill Zone is to the games? They used the actual totem pole design straight out of Generations. Sure, the colors aren’t as vibrant, but it’s appropriate to the movie’s style, yet it still respects the source.
