- An interesting Pt with vertical nystagmus (upbeat nystagmus). This Pt had severe hypomagnesemia. Serum Mg 0.1 mg/dl. With IV Mg correction, today the serum Mg is 1.6mg/dl The cause for hypomagnesemia is being looked at. (Consent taken from Pt and son for putting up this video)
