2017 4A Divsion 1 State Baseball Champs. Located in NW Wichita.
- Just so you know, we've sat around for an entire week when we could have been playing UP TO 26 games.

- Our 6th senior to be recognized is Tysaac Noland. Tysaac is a 3 year starter at catcher for the Mavs and will be playing baseball at Neosho next fall. His favorite ⚾️ memory is his two 💣 game against Ark City. Good luck next season Tysaac. Thank you seniors, you will be missed!
- Congratulations to @sheaseals2 and @lynch_baron for signing at Tabor College and Neosho CC today. Two quality pitchers going to help two quality programs.
- Congratulations goes out to @alexepp4 for his AVCTL Div 2 1st team SS and player of the year selection.
- The Mavericks hire Garrett Gould as their new pitching coach. A 2009 Maize graduate and Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year, Garrett was selected in the 2nd round of the 2009 draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has a wife (Taylor, teaches at MSMS) and daughter (Finley).
- We tip our hats and with much gratitude wish Coach Foltz good luck as he steps down as MSHS pitching coach to become the head coach at Goddard High School returning where it all started. #onceaMavalwaysaMav #family

- Welcome Wes Phillips @Willy_Ice7 back to the Maverick baseball family. Coach Phillips will be helping our younger players on jv and be in charge of our programs infielders. Welcome back Wes!
- Congratulations to senior @HarperKennedy3 for his commitment to @NewmanU to play baseball next year. They're gonna have a solid lefty stick in the line up for a few years. 🤘
