Keep in mind: They abandoned neighborhoods rather than live with Black people. They cemented swimming pools than share with Black people. They closed down schools than learn with Black people. … They’ll absolutely destroy democracy to avoid sharing power with Black people.

Have to understand that this “plausible scenario” was a reality for my parents when they were kids. The current, far more democratic map hasn’t even been a reality for one generation of Black people before (mostly white) Americans decided they had enough of Black voting power…

Black population of said cities: Philadelphia ~40% Detroit ~78% Atlanta ~47% Black people. He wants to throw out the votes of Black people who swung PA, MI & GA to Biden in 2020, and look poised to do the same for Harris in 2024.
