    Men do not have to mistreat women they do not like. That’s the part folk miss. Also, men can neatly disclose that they are disinterested so everybody on the same page lmao

    As Ashanti discusses how the men around her like Ja Rule ignored Irv Gotti hurting her, we should sit with that fellas. These were men she thought were her friends that abandoned/hurt her. Being “neutral” means we are allowing and enabling women in being hurt

    When we choose to not care about women's pain but go over the top when a woman is "wrong" we are complicit in their pain. There is a reason some of us only care about the second but not the first. The reason is misogyny and, since I'm discussing Ashanti, misogynoir
