David Maxwell is probably one of the only “true” amateurs riding atm. He puts a fortune into the game, and rides his own horses. I think he will admit he’s not as good as the professionals, but he tries every time. To see the flak he gets on here is quite sad really. #justsaying

So sorry to hear of the passing of Michael @AnaglogsDaughtr . A friend to everyone in the racing world, and a fountain of knowledge. Was lucky to have spent some time with him in his new house a few weeks ago, and take him for a drive. A lovely man who had a heart of gold. RIP

Completely overwhelmed at the msgs received. Have met wonderful people on my travels. Great owners, staff, jockeys, and horses. Made lifelong friends, and p....d a few off🙈. Had pleasure starting young jockeys, flat and jumps on the road to success. I owe racing a lot. Thanks

Been part of our lives for 24 years. Taught @brendanp1995 @jennypowell_ to ride. Kept the box walkers company. Bramble was the most sought after at open days. RIP old boy.

Again thank you for all your messages re joining @JosephOBrien2 . Unbelievable opportunity for me to join such a yard. Great team there and lovely horses. Hopefully I can play a very small part in their future. (Even at my age). Again thanks.

Our last 3 horses on the gallops before they leave to go to other yards. 2 nice 2yos by Helmet with their lead horse. Thanks to all who have supported us over the last 19 years. All staff been found jobs at other yards. Great days. #noregrets

Exactly a year ago today. What a fantastic job Pat did to organise such a wonderful race and to raise so much money for charity. A great jockey, and and even greater human being. Thoughts are with his family. RIP Pat

Still for the life of me, cannot understand why racecourses don’t let horses be led around anti-clockwise!! Very few do and am certain would be so much safer. Glad Ricky Doyle is ok, and actually got up and rode.
