211 yrs ago today my great, great, great, great aunt, Laura Ingersoll Secord risked her life. She ran 30km through woods, swamps & climbed the Niagara Escarpment to warn what would become Canada about a imminent invasion at Beaver Dam falls. She never made chocolate. 🧵thread:
