- The reason why the ECI site is so fast, is because... it's all statically rendered HTML, updated every five minutes with what I assume is a batch job. No SPA dumbf-ery here.
- I mean Bengaluru is a small village of about 12 million. These rags to riches startup stories about Indians always have to be fantastical. The guy went to BITS Pilani, and interned at yahoo(2009). He didn't ride into his startup on an elephant.This guy founded a $6 BILLION SaaS from a village in India. His initial revenue stream was a *donation* button 😳 The story of Abhinav Asthana & how he built Postman:

- Met extended family member for 1st time. She is a Telugu born in Pune, married to a Konkani guy in Karnataka, went to medical college with Gujaratis She speaks Kannada, Konkani, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Hindi, & English😅 Flawless Kannada and Konkani. Some people are blessed
- Replying to @ineratitongue in cheek answer on the internet: skin color expat can be anyone that is in another country, usually without an intent to become a permanent resident or a citizen of the new place; immigrant - one who has.
- I bought this bottle of Dom two years ago to celebrate an important event. I got the Green card after 14.5 years here, 12 years in the line & making 2 new American citizens 👧🏽👧🏽 This is the first July 4th after becoming a permanent resident of USA Happy Independence Day USA!
