My grandmother died today. She got #COVID in a hospital (!) in Germany. She was 91 and not even close to be vaccinated. I‘m 38 and get my first shot now.I live in #Israel. One thing is not having enough vaccines. The other is this grotesque failure in distributing it effectively.

Ich berichte seit 12 Jahren aus Israel. Seit vier Jahren lebe ich hier. Die Hamas fährt mit Pickups durch israelische Städte, tötet und entführt Menschen. Mein Schwiegervater patrouilliert mit seinem alten Gewehr ums Haus. So etwas gab es nie. Meine Eindrücke @welt

An die, die behaupten, es gebe keine Beweise für von der #Hamas massakrierte Kinder: Ich habe mit Augenzeugen gesprochen, die u.a. ein Baby ohne Kopf gefunden haben, und selbst Fotos von einem hingerichteten Baby, zwei geköpften Soldaten und zwei verbrannten Kleinkindern gesehen.

Organisatoren dokumentieren, wenn rechtlich möglich, abschieben. Wer ein Kalifat will und dafür aktiv indoktriniert, ist in Iran/Afghanistan/Syrien besser aufgehoben. Es reicht.

Ethically interesting choice by the colleagues from @nytimes to promote a "journalist" who is an active Hamas supporter. Hind Khoudary denounced a Palestinian peace activist for talking to Israeli peace activists 3 years ago. He was imprisoned by Hamas as a result of her actions.
