Day 1 of AOC 22 Group handover. Whole day focused on aircraft safety elements (Hawk T2, Texan, Tutor, Prefect, Phenom, Viking (and Robin), Juno and Jupiter). What a fantastically broad spectrum of capability all extremely well led and managed. Looking forward to this…

- Launch the fleet! Thanks to all those who have got Tutor back in the air with our RAF Air Cadets. Let’s see some photos of Cadets enjoying Air Experience flights again please! @aircadets @ComdtAC6 FTS and our fantastic Air Experience Flights across the UK have been given permission by AOC22 Gp @cabster3560 to return to cadet flying. 7AEF tried today but we were beaten by the wind. Can’t wait to see cadets flying with us once again. @RoyalAirForce @ComdtAC @ComdtCranwell
- Our 3(F) Sqn legend and source of the Sqn aircrew favoured tipple, The Baron Special! So, Baron Jean de Selys Longchamps. On 20/1/43 he sent his wingman home then flew his Typhoon to Brussels to launch a rogue solo attack on the Gestapo HQ to avenge his father’s death before dropping mini Belgian flags on the city. Demoted on his return, he was then given the DFC!
- I was pleased to review the Tutor display today and finalised the display approval for 2023. Well flown PDA by Gibbo in windy conditions and look out for the youthful commentary from ‘Ozzy’! Good luck for the season where you will reach an audience of over 400000!We are excited to announce our 2023 season calendar! #noordinaryjob #whatwedo #raf #rafwittering #rafdisplay #royalairforce #tutordisplay
- The effect you will have on those young people in your charge will be amazing. Thank you and enjoy the experience. Without people like you, I would never have joined the RAF (big shout out to Pete Ephgrave and Doug Crew who led 2386 Sqn ‘back in the day’)!Many congratulations to the latest cohort of @aircadets officers & SNCOs, representing both the ATC and CCF(RAF) who today graduated from the Command & Leadership School at @RoyalAirForce College Cranwell - thank you for your gift of time & talent 🙌

- It simply wouldn’t be the same without them. Thank you!We couldn’t be prouder of our Air Cadets who helped out at @airtattoo - and continue to do so over the next few days. Thank you to the @RoyalAirForce and @rafcharitable who helped make it a show to remember. Please share your best bits and highlights below #RIAT2023 #RIAT

- Replying to @Fhcwigley and @BBCSportAs a rugby union referee, this is a core part of how we help the game. It isn’t difficult just a case of mutual respect. Football has a choice which it chooses not to take.
