my sister chelsey & her boyfriend were hit on their motorcycle by a drunk off duty cop in my hometown of springfield illinois. the cops at the scene turned off their body cams and fed the drunk officer water and gum to sober him up for 6+ hours & only gave him a traffic ticket- Replying to @caceeraewitnesses at the scene stayed to record the proof of the intoxicated officer. the springfield police department, sangamon county police department, and state troopers still refuse to answer any of my family at this time to as why the officer
- Replying to @caceeraereceived special treatment while my sister is fighting for her life. they did a field sobriety test on my unconscious sister & her boyfriend but not on the officer who hit them. they state he used his right to refuse a breathalyzer & did not arrest him on a DUI
- Replying to @caceerae(has has a breathalyzer built in his car from his previous DUI btw) the chief of police did not meet with my family today as promised and his reasoning being “the stress of this situation has made him sick” as if my sister isn’t breathing via a machine right now.
