Don't know how to announce this. Our long-awaited photobook is now out. Though slated for last year, some things got in the way of its publication. Sorry for the inconvenience this caused. But here it is now. I'm so glad. Glory to the Sky (Heiress)

I think to be a good writer you need to read things that really shakes you up or leave you in a state of prolonged sublimity, that you want nothing else than to make sure you make someone else experience the same thing.

If you're going to write essays, know a little about a lot. If possible, know more about other fields of art you necessarily don't have to be a professional in. It helps in edifying your thoughts and writing.

How one as a Nigerian doesn't like Wizkid is beyond me. As in, an artist that defines a generation, whom most of y'all fave sound like today. Just how?

The Nigerian Air Force is flying a helicopter over Wurukum Roundabout, Makurdi, what for? To intimidate peaceful protesters? What kind of country is this? Where is the this helicopter when it is needed to defend citizens? Isn't that the job of the military? #StopBenueGenocide

I love this short story too much, and often go back to it.

Not everyone who has read so many books will be able to write one themselves. It's so weird. The act of writing is thinking seriously. And some of us don't have the muscle to pull it off. But that's all right too.

MY 2023 WRITING JOURNEY In 2023 I’d write a few essays, cutback editing jobs to focus on my fiction, I’d said. But it turns out to be one of my best essaywriting years. Here is a list of what I covered through writing. Thank you, and share.

Teju Cole holds a special place in Nigerian writing. Although not many younger writers go ahead to read him, there's only a few who didn't go through the ritual of Eight Letters. God bless that PDF.
